So I'm going to put off blogging the entire experience for now and offer up a couple of highlights including a pretty good EVP!
The Seance was something I've never participated in before. Table tipping is a term used to describe what was happening here last night. This table hopped and bounded around the room for an hour and a half straight. There were always people around the table with their hands lightly touching the surface.... sort of like how a Ouija board planchette is treated. Light finger tip touches only.
I'm surprised there are no holes and dents in the floor from how active this dang table was. My own personal jury is still out on this particular parctice. I need to do some research and learn more about it but I can say for sure that it was a sight I've never seen the likes of before in my life!
So, in addition to the seance we did have another tour similar to what took place on our first night. During this tour I experienced the smell of cigars that is often talked about here and associated with a spirit named Ben. It wasn't like a lit and smoking cigar. It was like someone had opened up a fresh box of cigars right in front of my face. Very peculiar indeed! I was taken aback because I had walked through that same spot countless times with out having smelled anything at all like that.
Then, in the Beijing room, Maria (our lovely hostess) was speaking Spanish to the young lady who is believed to reside in this room. She was asking if her male spirit tormentor was from Mexico.
We were going to be leaving here today and heading to Orlando for one last night of honeymooning at Epcot, but we were offered an additional night here. This time in the Beijing room and this time with a full paranormal investigations crew all over the home along with a psychic "gallery" tonight.
How could we refuse!
Other events from last night include a man falling down a flight of stairs, breaking his finger ans insisting he was pushed by an unseen force. My earring seemingly jumped from my ear to the cleavage part of my dress and hung there with a strong tug at the fabric. An old corsage seemingly materialized out of thin air and was found by one of the lady participants, and a phantom bell ringing at around 3:30 AM. We actually identified which bell rang, but haven't determined if it was from a living person or .... something else?
SO... one more night it is... woah...
